Everyone paying attention to transportation policy over the past decade has noticed the increased focus on equity. The U.S. Department of Transportation is currently building on President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” to include equity considerations in all its programs.
