CHARLOTTETOWN — The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) is visiting Prince Edward Island today to teach students about their rights and develop critical thinking skills.
The CCLA Rights Roadshow expands upon the CCLA’s existing annual Borovoy High School Conference in Ontario. The expansion to Prince Edward Island and five other provinces is thanks to generous funding from TJX Canada.
Grade 9 students from East Wiltshire School will have a chance to critically examine important and current rights issues from multiple perspectives as they engage directly with legal and Charter experts who are working to make positive social change
