Agra to Ranthambore

So we leave Agra, no problem, we go to Fatehpur Sikri; another palace built by another Moghul emperor, this one in the 16th century. Then we go to Ranthambore

The best part of the drive? Up ahead we see a crowd of people on the highway. Feroz, our driver (he looks like a jockey) says “accident”, turns around drives the wrong way down the highway away from the accident until we find a bypass. No problem. We could have been there for days.

The worst part of the drive? Having to stop for lunch at some hotel where we were served bland Indian food along with Cannelloni. Travel agent to be notified.

At the end of the day we arrive at Sher Bagh, a tented camp backing on to Ranthambore National Park . We get a beauty
